I spent my evening working on a patch to achieve the same goal, but clearly you beat me to it.

Your approach to this patch and mine are quite a bit different though. I did consider just patching Steam in memory as you have done here, but I figured I’d just put in the extra effort and attempt to create a patch which just replaces some of Steam’s files.

Admittedly, I’m not entirely sure how plausible that would be as I haven’t spent enough time with it yet, but I suppose I could still try.
